REHAU is seeking an ambitious, experienced Window Design Engineer/Fabricator Trainer for its Windows and Doors Business Unit, to be located at our regional headquarters in Leesburg, Virginia. Job responsibilities will include:
- Train new fabricators to produce quality fenestration products
- Audit existing fabricators to assist them in enhancing/refining their process
- Propose and implement enhancements and/or refinements to existing products
- Establish an interactive relationship with machinery and equipment suppliers, hardware and glazing component suppliers in the vinyl window industry
- Support customers in building windows and curtain wall elements to achieve high commercial ratings in air/water/structural tests
- Perform U-Value simulations on existing REHAU products utilizing NFRC approved software
- Utilize a CAD system to update and modify current specifications
Education/Experience:
- Auto CAD
- BS in a relevant field of engineering
- 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Project management skills (MS Project)
- Strong organizational and inter-personal skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
