Requirements:
• Five plus years experience in the architectural aluminum fabrication industry
• Background in Engineering is desirable, but not required
• Strong PC proficiency
• Team player
• Strong results orientation
• Able to prepare bids
• Sales and service orientation
• Proficiency in door hardware
• Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area
Job Description:
• Estimate and engineer large projects by adapting Pittco's engineered aluminum systems to architectural specifications, as well as design of major retrofit and replacement projects
• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to form a "takeoff" and assesses time, cost and labor estimates for all phases of a project
• Consult with clients, vendors or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and prepare formal customer quotations
• Coordination with Sales staff and Project Management staff to ensure the successful completion of the project and total customer satisfaction
