Window Technologies, Inc. (WinTech) has an immediate need for an experienced sales manager for the commercial window product lines. The ideal candidate will have a background in the light commercial window industry, be self-motivated, have excellent people skills, work well in a team environment, and have a successful track record of increasing sales and achieving customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers, and secure repeat business and growth by recognizing and fulfilling value-add opportunities.
• Identify new prospects and increase the number of qualified customers, developing new relationships for additional business growth.
• Quote and/or provide input for customer pricing and credit terms.
• Understand customer needs and work with in-house engineering group to find appropriate solutions, which may include input into new product development.
• Provide assistance and/or participate in trade shows to market products and services.
• Work with customer service department to resolve customer issues.
• Participate in annual budget preparation, and effectively manage respective product line budget as per company’s requirements.
• Participate in monthly operations meeting, providing input and recommendations regarding budgeting, sales forecasting, and other operational aspects.
• Manage the warranty and repair process relative to product line, including responding in a timely manner to customer warranty and repair inquiries.
• Develop and execute price distribution models and sales strategies.
• Work with manufacturer representatives and general contractors.
• Develop and deliver customer presentations.
• Measure the effectiveness of sales activities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Confer with department heads and other product line managers to share information, develop strategies, and plan sales and marketing activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a sales position, successfully building company brand and increasing revenue.
• Experience in the light commercial window industry.
• Experience working with manufacturer representatives and general contractors.
• Skillful in identifying new business opportunities; and planning and executing marketing and sales initiatives, priorities, and growth strategies.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, marketing and selling products or services, developing price distribution models, and conducting product demonstrations. Experience with developing marketing collateral is a plus.
• Good listener with the ability to communicate information, ideas, and solutions verbally and in writing so others will understand. Ability to speak to large groups.
• Customer-focused, solution oriented, and adaptable to customer needs within specified guidelines.
• History of developing cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to respond to warranty and repair issues.
• Demonstrate integrity and ethical business practices.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with a CRM application is a plus.
• Willing to relocate within 60 miles of Monett headquarters. Relocation assistance may be provided.
• Approximately 25% travel required.
