Wausau Window and Wall Systems is seeking Architectural Sales Reps for the territories of Texas and Washington/Oregon.

Position Summary: Promote Wausau's products and services to subcontractors, contractors and prospective building owners by performing the following duties. Residency in the territory is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following:
Develop a territorial plan in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager to cover the market efficiently and effectively, creating a presence at the architectural, owner and contractor/subcontractor level with our products and services.
Develop a customer base to provide a broad range of sales possibilities geographically and at various market segments.
Technical promotion to architects.
Identify viable and profitable opportunities to include closing projects, and retrieving the proper documents and paperwork.
Generate leads through lead service programs and responsible to follow and pursue viable prospective projects. Develop own set of leads through the promotion process.
Lead role in qualifying potential new customers, to include getting credit applications for new accounts, as well as their own assessment of the potential customer.
Represent Wausau at local and regional trade shows.
Assist the Estimating Department in quoting activity (including, but not limited to: prioritizing projects, answering questions regarding bids, i.e. scope clarification, getting bid documents in a timely fashion, developing pricing strategies).
Available to travel frequently and represent the company in a professional manner.
Support the Apogee Marketing/Growth Initiative.
Represent Wausau and Apogee in an ethical and professional manner. Adhere to the guidelines established in the Apogee Code of Ethics and company's Core Values.
Support Six Sigma/Lean and the continuous improvement process.
Undertake job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in related field preferred; related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
